This Biloxi resident lost his family home on the beach during Katrina. When he purchased this smaller home after the storm he was determined his family would not suffer from being without power again. His entire home is powered with the Gillette 12 kw natural gas unit with the Honda engine. The system is controlled by the 200 amp Eaton Automatic Transfer Switch. His electrical service was completley replaced and upgraded. The cost for his system was under $8,000.00.

This is the 2nd generator this customer purchased from Bay Motor Winding. His first was a trailer mount Lister diesel with a small fuel tank (12 gallon),manual start and manual hookup. After Katrina he decided to upgrade the system for his 100+ acre beautiful estate.
This system is a 60Kw Baldor Diesel. The engine is John Deere with a 500 gallon fuel tank. The Automatic Transfer Switch is an Asco 400 amp. The unit is located 200 feet from the main house and next to the main transformer. Coast Electric assisted with this installation. This system was expensive at $ |

This park-like setting is a residence located in Diamondhead. This customer was concerned with keeping her yard uncluttered without a big generator in plain view. We found a location 150 feet from her home and trenched the main power line through the yard. A 500 gallon propane tank was buried close by and fuel was piped in.
