This smart couple in Diamondhead had this system installed when their home was built in Diamondhead in 2003. When Katrina hit they never lost power. This Generator is a 25 kw Baldor with a 4 cylinder Ford Lp engine. Before this unit was installed, Bay Motor Winding discovered a factory defect. Bay Motor Winding spent countless hours working on the system until all of the problems were solved and the generator ran perfectly.
Before building your new home, contact Bay Motor Winding to assist in the planning of your generator needs. We can show you how to budget appropriately for your generator system, and be ready for installation.

This is one of our repeat customers. This lady lost her original generator in Hurricane Katrina. Her replacement generator is the Gillette 30kw Propane generator. This is a large home with 400amp service, so a 400 amp automatic transfer switch was required. The cost of a 400 amp ATS is triple the cost of a 200amp switch. We estimate that this system will run for 7 to 10 days on 1000 gallons of fuel in a buried tank, depending on the load that the generator is under.

This comfortable home's power is backed up with the Eaton 20 kw (3600 rpm) Lp generator. The automatic transfer switch on this system sheds heavy loads automatically when the generator is overloaded. Once the amperage drops, heavy loads like the AC resume operation. For example - the central A/C is running, and someone in the house starts the washer and dryer, and the electric cook top and oven. The AC will shut off untill the hot water heater turns off.

This is one of our local Community Centers.

The unit in place here is a 60KW LP Gillette Unit. The automatic transfer switch is a 400 amp, 3 pole ASCO sieres 300.

This generator powers the entire office portion of the building and only one of the main AC units in the Community Center meeting building.
